Pat Karn, PCK Ministries Executive Director, recognized a need for those who work to disciple others outside of the local churches to have a means of dedicated prayer and financial support in order to continually and effectively disciple in their gifts.
After sharing his vision with a few others in 2017, PCK Ministries (Preparing Christ’s Kingdom Ministries) was incorporated with the State of South Dakota. In November 2018, PCKM received a 501(c)(3) status as a not for profit ministry, making financial contributions tax deductible. PCK Ministries is a discipleship ministry that serves as a platform for Christians to operate in their area of giftedness and interest. PCK Ministries provides the accountability, training and encouragement as well as a means of generating financial support. It is the hub that provides the administrative duties for each ministry that operates underneath it.
In January 2019, Black Hills Discipleship Ministries (BHDM) was incorporated as a ministry arm under PCKM.
BHDM develops and conducts training seminars for Christian discipleship in the areas of marriage, parenting and Christian leadership. BHDM also provides one-on-one discipleship through individual biblical life coaching.
